  14. I am using GNU C/C++ compiler on an IBM compatible
  15. 486DX2 66 computer.  I have just completed going through
  16. a book on ANSI C, to learn the syntax of the language.
  17. I need help with writing code to interface with external
  18. equipment via LPT1 or one of the serial ports.  I can't
  19. seem to find a way to read/write LPT1.  I'm looking to 
  20. do general bit manipulation and feedback.
